OUR MISSION:

Promote the revival, support and further development of Karelian language

Promote the raise interest for Karelian language with the goal that more people in the world get to know karelian culture

Promote the development of international relations of Karelia as well as development of tourism

Promote the raise attraction of karelian literature, music, songs and fine arts
OUR ACTIVITIES:
The society of Karelian language friends is open to join not only for ethnic karels but in greater scale even for people of different nationalities who share interest for karelian language, culture and Karelia itself.
Our society is non-commercial organization but it will take part even in business projects aimed to development and advertisement of Karelian language, not only inside Karelia but in all the world.
The society is opened for cooperation with similar organizations in different countries as well as with societies of friends for other finno-ugric languages to solve similar problems together with them.
